PARIS A battle of two players making comebacks.
Most people expected Justine Henin-Hardenne to be in the final even though I thought Nadia Petrova had a chance at an upset, which turned out not to exist. Pierce, however, is the real surprise. She's back in a major final again after a five-year absence.
