With just under a month remaining in the 2012-13 English Premier League season, the players who've dominated the headlines are making one final push to cap memorable campaigns.

Gareth Bale, Robin van Perise and Luis Suarez have left fans, pundits and coaches in awe after some breathtaking displays. But who deserves to be named the EPL player of the season? Bale recently won the Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year award, but which player will get your pick?

Here's a breakdown of the top five candidates, along with my pick for EPL player of the season.

Gareth Bale (Tottenham Hotspur)

Standing head and shoulders above the other contenders for most of this season, Tottenham's star has taken the EPL by storm.
