Spurs need a win against Man City to have a chance to qualify again

Forget the title races in the major European leagues -- those are all but finished. The true drama across the continent lies a few spots down the tables, where clubs are fighting for the right to earn tens of millions of dollars next season.

With a month remaining in most European seasons, ESPN's Soccer Power Index considers the domestic championship races virtually over in the top four leagues. Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and AC Milan are all at least 93 percent favorites to win their respective leagues.

While less prestigious, the more lucrative races are the battles for the last Champions League berths, which can change the financial course of a club. After finishing fourth in England last year, Tottenham earned around $30 million for its Champions League quarterfinal run this season. Even a team like Werder Bremen, which finished dead last in its Champions League group, earned about $13 million for its six games.
