With U.S. coach Bob Bradley expected to name his 23-man roster for the Gold Cup on Monday, we thought we'd get a head start on guessing the group he will pick. Of course, with one more weekend of games to scout, things can still change. But right now, this is the squad we think will try to wrest the regional crown from Mexico next month and qualify for the 2013 Confederations Cup in Brazil.
Keepers (3)
Tim Howard
Marcus Hahnemann
Nick Rimando
Despite the possibility that Brad Guzan could be available for part of the tourney following his wedding/honeymoon, the fact that he wasn't at the March friendlies means he's not likely to spend the summer with the Yanks. So Hahnemann figures to be Howard's deputy. The No. 3 spot could go to David Yelldell, who made his U.S. debut March 29 against Paraguay, but we have a hunch that Bradley will take Rimando and allow him to shuttle back and forth to Real Salt Lake's games, as MLS-based Jon Busch did in 2009.
