The most intriguing name on the U.S. roster for Tuesday's Brazil friendly belongs to a potential high-impact player whose World Cup dreams ended when he couldn't recover quickly enough from injury. No, not Charlie Davies, who isn't yet ready for national team duty.
It's Jermaine Jones, the German-born, recently minted U.S. national teamer who plays, literally, a mean midfield for Schalke in the Bundesliga.
