Whether Juan Agudelo -- whose last official game action was for the U.S. against Russia back on Nov. 14 -- becomes the first Yank to switch clubs during the January transfer window remains to be seen, but it's beginning to look like a real possibility. (Agudelo's agent had no comment).
Elsewhere in the U.K., two young national team hopefuls are playing for teams headed in very different directions. The numbers suggest that he has -- all in the latest Hot List, a weekly Monday feature on the stock watch of American soccer players abroad.
Juan Agudelo, F, Chivas USA (MLS)
Why he's here: Agudelo managed just three goals in MLS last season, but the 20-year-old -- who has scored twice in 16 appearances for the U.S. -- is reportedly on the verge of moving to Scottish champ Celtic.
