While things are finally happening on the transfer front for the Yanks -- Michael Bradley's long-rumored move to Roma became official Sunday; Geoff Cameron could be a Stoke City player by the time you read this sentence -- there's no question that Clint Dempsey remains the man U.S. fans most want to see land with a more prestigious club. Liverpool has been widely reported as Dempsey's next destination, but Fulham, Dempsey's employer since 2007, issued a statement Wednesday morning saying that it "had not received any bids" for the U.S. star.
