So Jozy Altidore is headed to the Premiership, with the U.S. forward and Hull City today dotting I's and crossing T's on a loan from his La Liga overlord, Villarreal.

Sounds like a good move, because Altidore was going nowhere slowly with Villarreal, at least for the foreseeable future. And every minute he plays in the EPL will make him that much better prepared to make an impact for the Yanks at the World Cup. It's a win-win situation for Villarreal, too; the young Altidore could improve enough to help it down the line, or at least produce enough that he can increase his value, enabling the team to flip him for a healthy profit.

So what kind of club is Hull City? One that's worth rooting for, as Jeff Bradley, our colleague at ESPN The Magazine, discovered during the past year. Read Bradley's Hull City feature to get a sense of Altidore's new digs.
