Now that Randy Moss and Wes Welker are no longer teammates -- and can you believe we've got a major trade to discuss in Week 5? -- who would you rather have for the rest of the fantasy football season?

For point-per-reception leagues, I'm taking Welker. Moss is a dynamic player capable of another monster season, as he had with Tom Brady only two seasons ago, but the way Brett Favre is playing, he's not Brady, so Moss, well, he's not Moss. Welker is still Welker. I'll explain later.

The stunning Wednesday trade that landed Moss back with the Minnesota Vikings really shouldn't send too many shockwaves through the fantasy football world. Moss is already owned in every league, as is Welker. I'd say take your pick between them in standard scoring, but ultimately things just don't change all that much for them. For one, Moss isn't having a great season. He was fantasy's No. 2 wide receiver, on average, in ESPN's live drafts, but counting his goose egg from Monday night, he's not even the top Moss, Santana Moss is. Randy is tied for 36th among wide receivers in standard scoring.

For more of Eric's analysis on how the trade will affect the values of Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Wes Welker, Brandon Tate, Percy Harvin and Aaron Hernandez, you must be an ESPN Insider.
