I subscribe to the notion that what happens in Week 17 stays in Week 17. In other words, while real football players might have plenty to prove heading into their offseason, it seldom translates into big statistics from surprising players just because someone's trying to prove a point. Are 2010 jobs secured in the final week of a regular season? I really don't think so, so from a fantasy football aspect, don't overthink what lies ahead. Play your best options, no matter what.
Sure, like every week there are players to watch, and this week is no different. I think it's fun to watch someone like Jerome Harrison every week now, since he's kind of come from nowhere and for all we know, he could be nowhere in 2010. It might not matter what he does this weekend in terms of his future. Basically, this week is no different than any other week in fantasy football, except that some of the better options -- not as many as you think, really -- could sit more than you'd like. It's a challenge, and it's a good one. You want to win your league, time to do some work!
