"I was like, 'I don't know if I'm going to be a professional baseball player anymore,'" said Davis. "I thought I was a good hitter and could hit for power, and I went to short-season and didn't hit a homer. I just had a horrible two months. I was really helpless. The offseason was a good thing because I got a chance to regroup and get my confidence back."
