Surprise AL pitchers: Behind the numbers

A brief look at a handful of starting pitchers with good numbers thus far that you might be considering in AL-only leagues:

• I really want to be positive about the Cleveland Indians' Mitch Talbot and his 2.88 ERA and 1.25 WHIP because he has always been a prospect I felt had gotten overlooked a bit. But his early-season success is "smoke and mirrors" at this point. It's hard to get excited about a pitcher who has just 12 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings and has walked more than he has struck out.
