The weeds may have overtaken North Wilkesboro Speedway, but its memory lives on

All throughout the weekend race fans streaked up and down U.S. Highway 421, rolling through the Blue Ridge foothills that wrinkle the northwestern corner of North Carolina, headed to and from the Bristol Motor Speedway over in East Tennessee.
