Earlier this week the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame announced their inductees for 2010. Five men were voted into the Hall this year: John Powell, Irwin Jacobs, Woo Daves, Tim Tucker and Steve Price. I'm going to take this opportunity to comment on the last two.
You should know both their names. In the annals of bass writing and reporting, few loom larger than Tucker and Price.
From 1984 until his death a couple of years ago, Tim Tucker was Bassmaster Magazine's most prolific contributor. He also authored several books on bass fishing, including a couple that deserve status as classics. He was one of the most knowledgeable fishing experts I've ever met and extremely passionate about the sport and teaching it to others.
