The women of the Women's Bassmaster Tour just got their first real test at Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee.
No, they didn't face extraordinary weather or fishing conditions. No one is telling them they can only carry one rod and reel. And as far as I know, they're not being forced to use just one lure. The test was a little less obvious, but may have involved a good deal of stress and pressure for them.
High water on the Mississippi River forced a change of venue for the most recent Elite Series event. Instead of fishing Big Muddy, the best anglers in the world focused their talents on Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee ... the same body of water that the WBT fished just the week before.
