Despite slow start, Boston still looks like a Cup contender
Despite their weekend thrashing of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Boston Bruins started the 2011-12 season slowly. But their poor record might be distracting us from their actual performance thus far. In fact, it turns out they've retained a lot of what made them Stanley Cup champs last season.
When we calculated their Playoff Power Meter score, the Bruins finished second in the league, even better than our preseason prediction.
