Summer Skate -- Minnesota Wild
The perpetually middling Wild tried to add a big gun to their arsenal this summer by acquiring sniper Dany Heatley from the San Jose Sharks.
The Wild's problem will likely remain even-strength production, however, given Heatley's main strength the past few years has been scoring on the power play.
The question remains: Will Minnesota get enough internal progression from existing players to break through to the playoffs?
