Summer Skate -- Winnipeg Jets

Some teams had a lot of work to do in the offseason, but the Jets had to move an entire franchise above all else.

Needless to say, the Jets were not overly active in free agency this offseason and limited their trading to the deft acquisition of Manitoba native Eric Fehr. Luckily for Winnipeg management, the team's fan base has bought up season tickets for the next three to five years, so the Jets have the ability to rely on internal growth in 2011-12 without the risk of fan backlash.

Winnipeg will count on internal growth in 2011-12 to improve in the standings.
