The Canadiens put together their best playoff run in 17 years this past spring, riding goaltender Jaroslav Halak first to the playoffs and then to the Eastern Conference finals. However, less than a month later, Halak was sent packing, and the reins were handed to young Carey Price (who's not under contract yet) and Alex Auld.
