A pair of trades and a pair of picks highlight major draft-day transactions

MONTREAL -- The opening day of the NHL entry draft provided a great opportunity through trades -- as well as the actual picks -- for clubs to address some immediate needs on their rosters. In particular, after Friday night's prospect party, four franchises found themselves positioned for immediate improvement.
