One thing we can be sure of: Five years from now we'll look at a list of names from the second or third round of the 2010 draft and we'll be asking, "How did this guy drop so far down?"
That's the nature of all drafts -- someone in a later round is going to have lot more success than a good number of first rounders. Trying to identify those who might be the sleepers is a mug's game; you have to assume that you've got a 1-in-10 shot of picking someone out of the second round who'll have significant NHL success, and the odds creep higher in later rounds. I'm going to offer up 10 players who are likely to get picked outside the first round that will have a shot at overachieving.
