Sometimes, early on game days, Windsor Spitfires head coach Bob Boughner will wander out toward the ice at the empty WFCU center and find Taylor Hall -- No. 1, to the Edmonton Oilers, in Gare Joyce's most recent stab at a mock draft -- alone on the bench. "He'll have his head phones on and he'll just be focusing," says Boughner. "It's like he's in a trance."
