With the league's most recent Board of Governors meetings concluded Wednesday, I tracked down deputy commissioner Bill Daly for today's edition of Five for Friday. Daly fielded five questions on some pressing league and team business, including one on whether the league is prepared to intervene in the Islanders' management situation.

E.J. Hradek: You've been through several Board of Governors meetings during your tenure. What was the feeling for you coming out of the recently concluded BOG gathering?
