How crazy was the Chicago Blackhawks' 6-5 win in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals?
It was so crazy that the visiting Philadelphia Flyers weren't whistled for a single infraction (the stat wizards say that hadn't happened to them since Nov. 26, 2000, in a 2-1 loss to the Phoenix Coyotes), yet they can complain about a non-call that went against them.
It was so crazy that the goalie who gave up the fewest goals got the loss.
Lots of observations after the jump here. It's a good read if you're a puckhead. Go get it -- become an Insider.
