Who's better: Sidney Crosby or Alex Ovechkin? I get that question all the time. It's a tough one because I'd be really happy to have either guy. That's good of me, eh? I just think if you take one and I take the other, I figure we're both going to be pretty, pretty good.
If I have to answer the question, though, I'd say this: Ovechkin is the more dynamic player. As we've been lucky enough to witness over the past couple of seasons, he's a one-of-a-kind talent. People pay to see Ovechkin. Crosby, meanwhile, is the more complete player. I'm more convinced of that after watching him play against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Monday night. Crosby works just as hard without the puck in his defensive zone as he does with the puck on the attack.
