After completing an eight-game regular-season sweep of the longtime rival Bruins on Saturday night, the Canadiens hold a one-point lead over the Penguins in the Eastern Conference and a five-point edge over the Senators in the Northeast Division. That brings us to Monday night's important game between the Habs and Sens at the Bell Centre. Montreal hasn't enjoyed the same one-sided success against Ottawa. In fact, Guy Carbonneau's skaters have managed only one victory in their six previous meetings against the Senators, who have won the last two encounters by a combined score of 9-1.
