First things first, let's hope Florida winger Richard Zednik makes a speedy recovery from the scary injury he suffered during the third period of the Panthers-Sabres game at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo. Thankfully, Zednik received quick attention from the club's medical staff as well as local paramedics and doctors in Buffalo. The good work of those professionals likely saved Zednik's life. In the aftermath of the freak injury, some have wondered why the game wasn't stopped at that point, with about 10 minutes left in regulation time.
