If you can drag yourself away from another thrilling World Series game (is Game 1 over yet?), there are nine NHL games on Thursday night's docket. Here's a quick thought on each of them.

Blackhawks at Bruins, 7 p.m. ET
In different conferences, these two "Original Six" teams don't meet too often. Both have gotten off to surprisingly good starts and both will be looking to bounce back after bad losses. It will be interesting to see what kind of crowd turns out with the Red Sox playing across town. I get a feeling there'll be a lot of empty yellow seats at the TD Banknorth Garden. Maybe new Red Sox fan Rudy Giuliani will drop by to see the Bs if he can't get a World Series ticket.
