If your ear has been tuned to the pro-Todd Bertuzzi buzz coming from Oilers GM Kevin Lowe, who serves as Wayne Gretzky's right-hand man with Team Canada, then there were no real surprises on the Canadian Olympic roster.

Over the past couple of weeks, as Bertuzzi began to emerge from his season-long slump, Lowe and other Team Canada staff members have been speaking in very complimentary tones about the Canucks' big winger. In the final days, the buzz turned into a national debate north of the border. There were those who were staunchly against Bertuzzi's inclusion to the Olympic team. However, those individuals didn't have power within the selection committee.
