When we last chatted with Columbus Blue Jackets GM Scott Howson at the draft in June about the NHL's coming realignment in 2012-13, he said the summer plan in Columbus included shaping a proposal to pitch to the Board of Governors.
So did the Blue Jackets manage to find time to help solve realignment during an offseason that included a blockbuster trade and a big splash in free agency?
"There's ideas that we have on what we think might work," Howson said.
A proposal?
"Yes," Howson said.
