Overall: Brown was a reserve receiver in 10 games as a true freshman in 2000. He caught six passes in the first three games of the 2001 season before tearing his ACL against Arkansas, which resulted in him missing the rest of the season and taking a medical redshirt. Brown rebounded as a five-game starter in 2002 before taking over as a fulltime starter in 2003, when he was the Bulldogs leading receiver wit 49 receptions for 662 yards and three touchdowns. He once again led the Bulldogs in receptions as a senior in 2004, finishing with 53 receptions for 860 yards and six TD's. Brown has adequate size and better than average speed. He isn't the physical phenomenon that Gibson is, but Brown is more athletic and shows more explosiveness. Brown will make some big plays and flash acrobatic playmaking skills.
