Overall: Dixon enrolled at Arkansas in January of 2000 and he played in spring practice that year. He appeared in five games in 2001, he played in all 14 games in 2002, starting nine of them, and was a fulltime starter his last two seasons (2003-'04). As a senior in 2004, Dixon finished with 28 total tackles, six TFL and 1.5 sacks. Dixon is far too inconsistent at this point and his injury-history is reason for concern. He needs to play for a coach that can motivate him because he doesn't do a good enough job of that on his own. However, he has good size-potential and natural ability. He also is quick and shows enough flashes of playmaking skills to warrant consideration as an undrafted free agent that could continue to improve with some time on a practice squad and/or NFL Europe.
