QB battles can occur on good teams or bad teams, and they are always fun and exciting to watch. There will be plenty of battles in training camps around the league this summer, but some are more intense and real than others.

For example, people will watch Cleveland, Buffalo and Kansas City, but I don't think those are full-fledged competitions. Derek Anderson is the man in Cleveland, yet if he struggles, you'll hear cries for Brady Quinn, who had an excellent offseason. Trent Edwards is the starter for the Bills, but J.P. Losman has more starting experience, and even though he's never reached his potential, fans have an infatuation for the backup quarterback. Finally, it's Brodie Croyle's time in Kansas City. At least, it should be. Croyle has yet to show he truly deserves to be the starting QB, but if he can't hold off veteran Damon Huard, his days in Kansas City are pretty much numbered. Again, these three situations aren't the kinds of battles that keep coaches up watching extra practice film and dissecting each and every move and throw the QBs make. Anderson, Edwards and Croyle are the starting QBs -- for now.

While NFC North writer Kevin Seifert broke down that division's QB situations, the rest of the league has its share of QB battles, as well. Here are the most intriguing ones to watch.
