RIVER FALLS, Wis. -- A few observations gleaned from Kansas City Chiefs training camp:

1. Spotlight on Brodie Croyle
Second-year quarterback Croyle must show the Chiefs' coaches something this preseason. Ideally, they'd like for him to beat out Damon Huard for the starting job, but they also know Croyle will have his struggles (as he did while throwing a first-quarter interception in a 16-12 loss to Cleveland on Aug. 11).
