Three Burning Questions
How long will the Titans be able to keep rookie QB Vince Young on the sidelines?
It will be determined by how well Young progresses. History has shown that rookie QBs like Young have had much more success when given time to learn from the sidelines first. Billy Volek will open camp as the starter, but we are not talking about Young competing against a player with a ton of starting experience. Volek, too, has never been the No. 1 guy and has started only 10 games in his first six NFL seasons. Volek is a nice backup, but he has shown he will not develop into a consistent No. 1. Young, on the other hand, is the future. We will now have to sit back and wait how long it will take for the Titans' future to begin.
