Vinatieri helping Colts with unfinished business
Adam Vinatieri is the best closer in football, and the Colts are hoping he's the final piece to their puzzle, writes John Clayton.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Here are five observations on the Indianapolis Colts, based on camp practices of Aug. 7:
1.
No knock on Mike Vanderjagt, but Adam Vinatieri is a welcomed addition to the Colts.
The Colts are stressing the idea of finishing things better, whether it's blocks, plays, throws or games. Vinatieri is the best finisher in football. He's the game's best closer, its Mariano Rivera. It's still hard to believe the Patriots didn't re-sign him. Vinatieri has been the best clutch kicker in his era and moves to an offense that will give him more chances to score.
