Switch to 3-4 should suit Parcells

Dallas is hoping that head coach Bill Parcells and free-agent signing Drew Bledsoe can rediscover the chemistry that helped lead New England to Super Bowl XXXI. Bledsoe is tall enough to see the entire field. He generally finds the open man when given enough time and puts excellent zip on his downfield passes.

He's also a leader who will make sure the offense stays on the same page, but his lack of mobility remains a concern. Bledsoe doesn't have the agility or quickness to consistently buy second chances in the pocket and he holds onto the ball too long at times. That's not good news for Cowboy fans because there isn't great depth behind him.

Drew Henson will likely win the competition for the backup role, unless Dallas chooses to sign another veteran before the start of the regular season. Henson has a strong arm and is more mobile than Bledsoe, but has just one career start and takes too long to break defenses down.
