2011 NFL Playoffs Predictor
New York Jets are AFC's No. 6 seed, replacing Bengals; Bears drop out in NFC
Week 13 brought a lot of change to the Playoffs Predictor. Clearly no team wants to make the playoffs as a wild card in the NFC, as the Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys all lost, though in varying fashions. The bad news for the Bears, who fell out of the top six: The Falcons play only one team above .500 the rest of the way.
In the AFC, the Denver Broncos continued their meteoric rise and now lead the AFC West, while the New York Jets got back into the thick of the playoff race with a win in Washington.
Below is how the 2012 NFL playoff bracket looks as of today, according to numberFire's projections.
Please note that all rankings refer to the opponent-adjusted efficiency as calculated by numberFire, not the gross yardage.
