Film Notes: Steelers are explosive

Pittsburgh has plenty of deep speed and a QB who can take advantage of it

After breaking down film, Scouts Inc. gives its take on what to watch in the NFL this weekend:

Pittsburgh could have a very explosive vertical pass offense
Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown and even Emmanuel Sanders are explosive deep receivers and they looked good in the preseason. With veterans Hines Ward and Jerricho Cotchery, as well as TE Heath Miller, eating up underneath and intermediate coverages, most defenses cannot afford to double-team the guys outside. As a result, the Steelers should get excellent matchups. Two other factors are also critical in this passing game: The power run game sets up a good play-action package, and QB Ben Roethlisberger can buy time with his feet to let those deep routes develop.
