NFL Vegas Power Rankings
Updated ratings for all 32 NFL teams and Week 4 value plays
LAS VEGAS -- Three weeks of the NFL season are in the books and every team has had three games to show what they've got. With byes beginning this week, it's as good a time as any to update the Vegas NFL Bettors' Poll and each team's power ratings in the eyes of Vegas handicappers.
Not surprisingly, the Denver Broncos are the No. 1 team from the power ratings of our panel of handicappers: Teddy "Covers" Sevransky, Sal Selvaggio and yours truly, Dave Tuley. Power ratings from handicappers won't always match the more mainstream polls, but the Broncos have shown themselves to be the top team in the NFL so far with two blowout wins over the Ravens and the Giants and then a 37-21 win over the Raiders on Monday night that was right around the point spread (early bettors cashed on Denver at minus-14.5 to minus-15.5, while late Oakland backers cashed at plus-16.5 and plus-17.
The table below shows how our combined power ratings have changed from previous columns right after the Super Bowl, before the preseason and after Week 3.
