NaVorro Bowman, LB, San Francisco 49ers (No. 18)

While it's hard to show using numbers -- after all, how is a player supposed to blow you away with crazy tackle totals when he has to share the middle of the field with Patrick Willis -- Bowman still deserves more praise. Why? Well, one reason is that he actually ended up with more tackles than Willis last season. Bowman made a play (tackle, assist or turnover) on 18.7 percent of San Francisco's defensive plays, compared to 16.2 percent for Willis.
