The Jets' decision to trade Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for multiple draft picks, including the 13th overall selection, has the potential to be a win-win deal for both sides.

The New York Jets are taking a chance at losing arguably the best cornerback in the game, even if he is coming off an ACL tear. But they also faced the possibility that Revis would walk away as a free agent next year, and he could've held out this season. Getting rid of him and picking up the No. 13 pick will help them speed up their rebuilding process by giving them options and leverage on Thursday night.

For the Bucs, the deal could have significant immediate impact.
