Regardless of this year's playoff outcome, film shows team with bright future
There is no question that when you break the Tampa Bay Buccaneers down on film, the improvement you see is definite, the problem has been week in-week out consistency. For the most part, you see a team with discipline. The Bucs have players who play hard, playmakers on both sides of the ball, and a nice mix of veteran players and young guys.
These last four games should give us a real window into the character of this team and where it is headed, so let's break down what we see on film about the Bucs' offense, defense and playoff picture.
When head coach Greg Schiano took over, he wanted the Bucs to have a physical offense dominated by a strong line and a power run game that has the ability control the clock when needed. They are headed in the right direction. It starts with quarterback Josh Freeman, who has shown glimpses of greatness this season along with nagging inconsistencies that can be baffling.
