Is there hope for Christian Ponder?
The Vikings QB needs to show improvement in remaining games this season
Christian Ponder threw an interception on the final play of the third quarter against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. It was the second interception of the day for the Minnesota Vikings quarterback, and at that point, Ponder was 5-for-13 for 36 yards and had misfired on seven passes in a row.
At the same time, teammate Adrian Peterson had 21 carries for 210 yards. Ponder's struggles led to a Vikings loss and wasted Peterson's great day, just as his struggles all season could cost Minnesota a playoff berth and waste Peterson's amazing season. Ponder has four games to turn his 2012 season around, but if he can't do it, there's little reason to think he'll improve much in 2013.
