After watching film of both teams, Scouts Inc. breaks down key elements of the Week 9 Chiefs-Chargers matchup.
• Protect the edges: A massive key to this game is the Chargers' ability to get Tamba Hali and Justin Houston blocked coming off the edge. The Chargers' offensive line is far better when Jared Gaither is at left tackle, but even when that is the case, right tackle is an area of concern. Philip Rivers was sacked only once in Cleveland last week, and Kansas City did not record a sack in its Week 8 loss to Oakland. Kansas City's pass defense is noticeably worse this year when it blitzes.
