After watching film of both teams, Scouts Inc. breaks down key elements of the Week 8 Redskins-Steelers matchup.
• Set the tone with the running game: The Steelers controlled the clock and the game with 167 yards rushing against the Bengals in Week 7. The Redskins are excellent at defending the run, yielding only 85 yards per contest. Pittsburgh has struggled for rushing yardage, but it looks as if the Steelers have found their identity with third-year back Jonathan Dwyer. Look for offensive coordinator Todd Haley to pound the rock with the power running game, which should set up the play-action passing attack in Week 8.
