After watching film of both teams, Scouts Inc. breaks down key elements of the Week 8 Patriots-Rams matchup.
• Rams must control clock: The Patriots' offense struggled some in Week 7 but is capable of racking up huge numbers. St. Louis has two capable backs (Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson) who can move the chains with a thunder-and-lightning attack. New England's pass defense (290 yards per game, 16 touchdown passes) has been exploited in 2012. Look for Rams offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to utilize a mix of high-percentage passes while attacking between the tackles and toward the edges in the running game, which could limit New England's opportunities.
