After watching film of both teams, Scouts Inc. breaks down key elements of the Week 5 Chargers-Saints matchup.
• San Diego should resist temptation to throw often: Between coach Norv Turner and quarterback Philip Rivers, we should expect to see the ball aired out in this game. But the Chargers need to establish the run. The Saints have struggled, for the most part, to stop the run. If the Chargers can control the clock and keep the ball out of the hands of Drew Brees and his explosive playmakers, it should give San Diego a much better chance of coming out ahead.
