After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Steelers-49ers matchup.
1. Which team plays the cleanest game? These are two evenly matched teams with similar styles, and both are really tough to beat when they play mistake-free football. Although both teams do a nice job of taking care of the football and not beating themselves, they are surprisingly sloppy in the area of penalties, and the coaches are working to clean that up. Neither defense is tackling as well as it usually does, although the 49ers are actually more impressive in all defensive areas than the usually rock-solid Steelers. These are similar teams, both are well coached and both can make in-game adjustments -- so the team that makes the fewest mistakes likely will win.
