After breaking down film of both teams, Scouts Inc. offers 10 things to watch in this week's Broncos-49ers matchup.
1. Key the short passing game: New England has very little verticality to its passing game, and creating big plays deep downfield has been a problem all season. But Tom Brady is obviously an excellent and accomplished deep passer. The Patriots are having their most success out of double-tight end sets, and have two very good TEs in rookies Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski. Green Bay targeted Vikings rookie CB Chris Cook quite a bit last Sunday night with success. And Minnesota's safeties are not great coverage players, especially against a talent like Hernandez.
